I love the colors in your Bargello I have made a couple of them over the years I had someone say there is as much fabric on the front as the back in a Bargello and with the seams I do belive they are pretty close to being right. Still the black to gold is gorgous. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Very Striking!! Love it!

I usually don't like black in a quilt as it usually looks like a 'fall-back' but this really works! Nice!

Just got 'autumn coloured' fabrics for bargello placemats for a gift... can hardly wait to start!

Hi Bradie, I love your fabric choices. To answer your question, I have made one and have cut out a second. Of that second one I have one strata sewn...and I must get back to it. There are a few other deadlines right now, but I will get back to it. May have to set the ping pong table up in the living room and hang a do not distrub sign on my front door to get it finished. What was I thinking when I cut out such a large one!!! Would be like to plan a reveal date?

Confession time... I have my fabrics ... they are stacked, oh so lovely, in my stash bin. I have not pulled them out & started sewing the strips together... I gained much comfort from your post that one day I am actually going to make my bargello quilt! Your's is going to be absolutely gorgeous!
