This is Sophie. She is almost 2. She has been patiently waiting for her quilt for quite a while. When it was still just a top, she would creep into the quilt cupboard, yank it off the hanger and run through the house yelling “My quilt!!” Finally Mommy is at the binding stage. Sophie is pretty happy about that.

This quilt was a kit that I couldn’t resist last summer in Salmon Arm BC. It came in a cute little Dick and Jane lunchbox too.I used up almost every little scrap for the back. Plus I used up a whole bunch of other scraps I had of some moda kids fabrics. I like the back almost as much as the front!! I freehand quilted some daisy types flowers all over, quick and easy.
Lastly we have a few pics of Baby Ziggy having a bath. Isn’t he a cutie? He’s geting too big for the sink but that is hard to avoid isn’t it?
PS. Sorry about the order of the pics. I can’t seem to figure out the editing. Just keeping you on your toes!!

I hope this is a current site as I have been looking for a pattern to make this quilt for my granddaughter. I have the same panel of Dick and Jane and this is by far the cutest quilt I’ve seen with Dick and Jane. Because it is several years after the fact, would you be willing to share your pattern with me? I have searched and searched and have not seen one like this before. My little Abby would love this. Thanks for any help you can give me. I appreciate it!
